Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia was born in Canada. She is best known to Canadians due to her work as an Canadian actor on the Freeform fantasy television show Shadowhunters. She also appeared in Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea and a'que te is enthralled. Model and dancer by profession, Toubia has also achieved great success in both of these fields. Born in Montreal, she was brought up in Texas. She's always enjoyed performing. She's been learning various dance styles from the time she was a child. As she reached the age of 15 old, she started competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia achieved fame after she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. Toubia began her acting career in 2010 when she played an office receptionist in an Telemundo episode. The first film she appeared in was an action drama Tattooed Love in 2015. Toubia was nominated two times to win Teen Choice Awards as the Best TV Actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi for her role in Shadowhunters.
