Jillian Hernely, born Noel Hennely on 25 November 1968. She is an accomplished Canadian actor and singer with a notable contribution to American TV. Her name is well-known for her outstanding performances on the American television show Law & Order where she impressed viewers for three seasons playing prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan wherein she played the protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy did not forget to show off her talents in films like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. She also created and directed these films. Hennessy started her acting career with her sister, playing twin call-girls in Dead Ringers in 1988. She starred as a character on Broadway as a part of the show Buddy The Buddy Holly Story in 1990. The Buddy Holly Story in 1990 and stepped into the world of science fiction in 1993 playing Doctor. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. Her breakthrough was later in the year, when she joined the cast of the cult NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. Her three-season stint in the part was an instant hit with fans. In 1996, she left the show. Parker was in movies like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys On The Side, West Wing Angels in America along with Boys on the Side. The actress was awarded an Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award for her role in these series. Parker was awarded the Tony Award 2001 for Best Actress in the Broadway production Proof.
