Aaliyah Dana Haughton burst into fame in 1994 after she released her debut Album Age Ain't Nothing But an Number. When she was just 15 the album was awarded Gold recognition. The album was an album that was heavily in the style of R. Kelly and it placed her in the spotlight. In 1996, Jermaine and Timbaland made Aaliyah's album One In A Million. It featured If You Girls Only Knew the single that was most popular. The second album of Aaliyah entitled One in a Million, was released in 1996. It contained the number-one song, a huge hit,"If Your Girl Only Knew. Aaliyah starred alongside the legendary Jet-Li, the famous martial artist in Romeo Must Die (2000) which was an action-packed romance film. Joel Silver, film producer and director of the movie Romeo Must Die caught her at an award ceremony. Aarti Mann is from Indian heritage and was born Connecticut. Her stage name Mann is an abbreviation of her marriage name Mankad. Mann uses Aarti Man and Aarti Mahumdar as her official name. Her acting career began as a minor actor in TV and film parts, however her fame grew during the middle 2000s. Some of her most notable roles include Grey's Anatomy, Suits and Leverage. She's appeared in many commercials including Volvo's international car maker. She has a daughter, is a resident of Los Angeles and is pursuing her acting.
